Eden Bartholomew has always been transported by stories and initially wanted to be an English professor, studying literature and music at Vassar College. They decided to pursue voice while missing music-making during the spring of 2020, and are currently a soprano in the Voxtet at the Yale Institute of Sacred Music, studying Early music, Oratorio, and Art Song. They have recently been featured as the Angel in Handel's Jephtha at Lincoln Center, Filia in Carissimi's Jephte, and the soprano soloist in Haydn’s Die Schöpfung. Past oratorio includes Mozart’s Vespers, Bach’s Magnificat, Haydn's Lord Nelson Mass, and Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël. In the summers of 2025 and 2026, Eden was a Vocal Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center, performing the role of Le feu in Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges and Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
