Eliana Barwinski is a versatile Mezzo-Soprano celebrated for her captivating performances and extensive musical expertise in Historical Performance, Art Song and Sacred & Liturgical Music. A recent graduate of Yale University's Institute of Sacred Music and the University of Michigan, Ms. Barwinski is in the final stages of completing a Doctorate of Voice Performance and Historical Performance from Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. Eliana’s musical engagements span a wide array of repertoire and roles, such as Tebro in G.F. Handel’s cantata, O come e chiare e belle, alto soloist in Bach's Passions and large works, and solo vocalist in Golijov’s Oceana. Barwinski’s extensive research encompasses early and Sacred music, Central/Eastern European vocal repertoire, Chinese folk and art songs, and the Anglican choral tradition. In addition to her compelling performances, Eliana is a dedicated educator and skilled arts administrator. Her teaching experience range from university guest lectures to private voice instruction. Eliana's ongoing journey serves as an inspiration to others in this ever-changing industry, as she contributes to the world of music through her artistry, intellect, innovation, and steadfast dedication to teaching.
